He started his career in logistics in the 1990s in the freight forwarding companies Nieten and Gerlach. Then he briefly “jumped” to the civil service. He then gained experience in the UK for three years and then worked in Germany for nine years as a sales director at Si-Ka-Tec. In 2016, when the Cheb industrial park started to grow, he returned to logistics and worked as a warehouse manager at DHL. After a short intermezzo at Edeka, he joined Tchibo, where he has been managing the Cheb B2C distribution centre for five years. With his girlfriend he takes care of five children and one dog. His hobbies include tennis, downhill skiing, ski mountaineering, hiking and cycling.
