Yiannis Mitris, IKEA Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary

Yiannis Mitris is a senior logistics and fulfillment expert with nearly two decades of experience leading teams and driving ambitious business projects. Currently working as the country customer fulfilment manager for IKEA CZ/SK/HU, Yiannis and his teams are tackling the challenges of developing multichannel delivery strategies, store fulfillment concept implementation, or last-mile delivery optimization, to name a few.

Throughout his career at IKEA, which spans all the way back to 2004, Yiannis has taken on roles of increasing responsibilities, starting as a sales worker and later logistics manager in his home city, Athens, Greece. In 2012, Yiannis brought his experience to Prague’s IKEA Černý Most store, where he continued leading logistics teams. He later joined the regional service office organization in 2014, where he has had responsibility for several logistics projects for IKEA stores in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

Yiannis holds a bachelor of science in business administration degree from the University of Economics in Athens. He is a passionate biker, and he loves spending time with his wife or being outside with their two dogs.
