Václav Macháček, Mokate Czech

Václav Macháček has been working for three years as a process engineer at Mokate Czech, the largest coffee roaster (under the Marila brand) and the largest producer of gingerbread (under the Perníkář brand) in the Czech Republic. The company also produces sponge cakes, wafers, cookies and teas, and it employs over 200 people in Votice. The main focus of Václav Macháček’s work is the efficiency of the entire production process. He also handles all technical matters from purchasing, revisions, training, maintenance to all large investments. Before coming to Mokate, he worked in various positions at Kvarto, most recently as the head of all services. He graduated from the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, majoring in Agroecology. He is married and has a two-year-old son. His hobbies include sports.
