Olena Vdovychenko, Metro Cash&Carry Ukraine

Olena Vdovychenko has been the CEO of Metro Cash&Carry Ukraine since May 1, 2021. She started her career at Metro Cash&Carry in September 2005, where she subsequently held various managerial positions in the field of logistics and supply chain, as well as positions in purchasing and sales. Together with her team, Olena has always achieved the highest results in various projects, for example the implementation of a new strategy for private brands with a resulting 20% increase in sales and an increase in EBITDA +11%, the introduction of the Fermove project, which brought products from local farmers to Metro stores, and last but not least, Metro Ukraine under her leadership became the winner of the global competition in the Metro corporation for achieving the optimal level of inventory. As a part of the company management, Olena focuses on building a strong team, supports the growth of talents and future leaders. Family is very important to Olena and the support of her 15-year-old son Nikita.
